About Us:

We started out in the Leopard Gecko world a while back like most other people do, with only two, they were Tangerines.

 As we started our research on how to take proper care of our animals we found that the colors we had were nothing compared to the other variations that were out there. The addiction set in we had to have more. Two became four, four became eight, and the rest is history.

In the 2010 season we expect to have nearly 75 babies. Our collection will include over 44 breeders. In the 2011 season we plan to double those numbers.

Geckospot.com is a Family Run Business. All of our Leopard Geckos are handled daily by the family.  From the ages of 40 to 4 you can be sure that our Geckos get loved everyday.

Our Rack System:

 Our rack system is, as you can see, homemade. This design is similar to the design shown in Ron Tremper's Book, "The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos: Twenty-seven Generations of Living Art".

We use 28 quart,12 quart and 6 quart Sterilite tubs. The 28 quart can hold up to four adults. We use the 12  and 6 quart for growing out babies. As of August 23, 2010 we have a total of three racks, all different sizes, with 108 tubs.

For heat we use Flex Watt Heat Tape and a thermostat set to 90 deg. We also use digital thermometers and hydrometers to make sure that temperatures are always correct.

For our breeders we use Glad Ware Tall Entree 42 oz. Bowls as moist hides. We cut a hole in the top and fill it with peat moss about half way full. We spray mist the peat moss everyday to keep it moist. This "Moist Hide" will allow the geckos a place to go for assistance in shedding and also will be a place for the females to lay there eggs. We also supply a Styrofoam hide in a cooler location of the tub. This will allow the geckos to choose between hot and a bit cooler location to rest. For the babies we use Styrofoam bowls as hides. These work well with the 6 and 12 quart tubs for they do not take up a lot of space. We place a folded paper towel under each bowl. The towel is moistened everyday.

We feed every gecko we meal worms or super worms depending on size. Each tub has calcium and Vionate (vitamins) in a small jar lid. This allows the geckos to ingest calcium and vitamins as they like or need.

We will ship anywhere in the Continental United States for approximately $50.00, up to three Geckos. If more than three Geckos are shipped at one time a custom shipping quote will be required prior to shipping.

All shipments are guaranteed alive arrival. All shipments will be packed in insulated boxes and with heat packs. All shipments will be shipped via UPS or FedEx overnight.
